Migraine FAQ - Q7

Migraine FAQ - Q7

Q: How can the pain in my tummy and the headaches my mum has both be migraine?

A: Everything that happens in your body is controlled by your brain. It is much more common in children to have migraine in your tummy (abdominal migraine) than it is for grown ups. Migraine is caused by changes happening in your brain, which can make it send out messages to many different parts of the body. This is why migraine affects people in many different ways. Fortunately the changes in your brain don't last long and you are soon completely back to normal.
