Migraine FAQ - Q5

Migraine FAQ - Q5

Q: My dad's friend said that if I didn't eat chocolate, I wouldn't have any more migraine attacks. Is this true?

A: Some people think that chocolate causes their migraine but everyone is different. The best thing to do is keep a diary to try to find out what causes your migraine. Just because chocolate is a trigger for some people with migraine it doesn't mean it is for you. If you do find, after keeping a diary, that chocolate seems to be a trigger for you, there are lots of other treats you can have instead of chocolate - try carob bars.
